Services Provided
The service provided by the Award Office:
- The Award programmes are offered to all young people within the participating Authority area.
- The individual programmes are checked and Awards issued
- Information, Newsletters and promotional materials are produced
- Leader Trainings are organised and run
- Residentials are organised
- Volunteers are recruited and trained in the Award philosophy and conditions
- Visits to all participating groups to provide encouragement and support
- Promotional talks are given
- The Award fundraising, grant applications and appeals are organised
- The legal documentation of the Caledonian Award Company is completed
- The continual development and updating of the Award progammes
